Fry Communications is searching for an experienced print sales executive with a great production background, customer service experience, and a willingness to take on the “long sell.” We need a sales professional who will advocate for existing customers and develop prospects into customers with equal ease.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starting, outgoing professional. Our sales executives act as a key point of contact between Fry and its clients, and hold responsibilities that include identifying and educating prospective customers while supporting existing clients with information and assistance that relates to our products and services.

These responsibilities include:

  • Researching and acquiring new leads for our products and services.
  • Turning those leads into sales opportunities by working at both the strategic and tactical levels to champion creative ideas.
  • Acting as a process improvement champion by identifying issues in the conversion process and bringing new ideas to the table to improve conversion rates.
  • Manage your account selling process from initial prospecting through service implementation which includes call planning and cold calling, managing the sales funnel, shepherding proposal generation and contract negotiation, and exceeding monthly objectives.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree and five years experience in printing, publishing, or print sales is preferred.
  • Able to consistently contribute effort, leadership, and creative thinking to solving complex and significant problems in a collaborative fashion. Must be able to demonstrate an ability to work concurrently on multiple complex and sometimes ambiguous problems. Able to communicate complex concepts, problems, and solutions clearly and effectively to all levels within the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform at a high level of proficiency in utilizing tools and applications to complete assignments and meet sales goals.
  • Able to communicate in an effective and approachable style that engages others and builds credibility. Able to provide rationale when delivering complex or challenging information.
