Jim Davis, Key Figure in Fry PILOT Development, Retires

Jim Davis, an instrumental figure in the development of Fry’s Presort Information and Logistics Team (PILOT) Department, has stepped into retirement.

 Jim joined the Fry team thirty-three years ago, becoming the Transportation and Logistics Manager. Upon the department reorganization and creation of PILOT – Fry’s Presort Information and Logistics Team – he was promoted to Manager of the department, overseeing all postal, mail, and shipping functions for the company.

“Jim has been instrumental in solving so many complex problems and in talking to clients through technical challenges,” said David Landwehr, Fry’s VP of Manufacturing. “He did it all with patience and professionalism.  Jim has helped to support an exceptional team in PILOT who day in and day out execute at the highest level.”
