Fry Communications Wins Gold, Six Other Awards in 21st Annual Gold Ink Awards Competition

Mechanicsburg, PA - 8/29/08 - Fry Communications, Inc. won seven awards in the 21st Annual Gold Ink Awards Competition, a competition co-sponsored by industry magazines Publishing Executive and Printing Impressions.

Fry earned a Gold Award for the March 2008 issue of Interior Design, published by Reed Business Information, in the trade magazines (web) category, and a Silver Award for Musical America 2008, published by Commonwealth Business Media, in the directories category.

Fry also received five Pewter Awards as follows: in the business catalogs (web) category for the Billet Specialties 2007 Catalog, published by Billet Specialties; in the business catalogs (web) for the Techo-Bloc Collection 2008 Catalog, published by Techo-Bloc; in the consumer magazines category for the Winter 2008 issue of Boston Home, published by Boston Magazines (a division of METROCORP); in the specialty magazines (web) for the Fall 2007 issue of Philadelphia Wedding, published by Philadelphia Magazine (a division of METROCORP), and in the specialty magazines (web) for the Spring/Summer 2008 issue of Boston Wedding published by Boston Magazine (a division of METROCORP).

This year's winners were chosen from nearly 1,500 entries submitted within 50 different categories. Winning entries surpassed their competitors based on print quality, technical difficulty, and overall visual effect. One gold, one silver, and one bronze winner were chosen in each category; the number of pewter awards was determined by the judges.

Fry's accomplishments will be honored at the Annual Gold Ink Awards banquet on October 27 during GRAPH EXPO 2008 in Chicago.
