Fry Communications Wins Nine Gold Ink Awards in 20th Annual Competition

Mechanicsburg, PA - 8/7/07 - Fry Communications, Inc. recently won nine awards in the 20th Annual Gold Ink Awards Competition, a competition co-sponsored by industry magazines Publishing Executive and Printing Impressions.

Fry earned three Silver Awards: in the business catalogs (web) category for the 2007 Techo-Bloc Catalog published by Techo-Bloc; in the directories category for the Hispanic Yellow Pages of Chicago published by the Hispanic Yellow Pages of America, and in the specialty magazines (web) category for Boston's Concierge Fall 2006 issue published by Metrocorp.

Fry also received six pewter awards as follows: in the directories category for Musical America Worldwide published by Commonwealth Business Media; in the scientific and technical journals category for Scientific American: Current Issues in Biology, published by Scientific American Inc.; in the specialty magazines (sheetfed) category for @ The Market published by Newsdesk Media Inc.; and in the specialty magazines (web) for Boston's Elegant Wedding Spring/Summer 2006 published by Metrocorp, for Philadelphia Elegant Wedding Fall 2006 issue published by Metrocorp, and for Distinctions Decade published by Island Publications (a division of Newsday, Inc.).

This year's winners were chosen from nearly 1,500 entries submitted within 50 different categories. Winning entries surpassed their competitors based on print quality, technical difficulty, and overall visual effect. One gold, one silver, and one bronze winner were chosen in each category; the number of pewters was determined by the judges.

Fry's accomplishments will be honored at the Annual Gold Ink Awards banquet on September 10 during GRAPH EXPO 2007 in Chicago.
