Fry Partners with Nstein to Offer Software Suite

Mechanicsburg, PA - 5/4/2010 - Fry Communications (www.frycomm.com) announces a partnership with Nstein Technologies, recently acquired by ECM leader OpenText, to offer its software suite as part of Fry's integrated content distribution platform for publishers.

Fry plans to offer the Nstein platform as a software as a service (SaaS) model for participating publishers. This addition enhances Fry's current technology services to publishers, providing an integrated process for publishing to a varied array of media beyond print, including on-line, mobile and e-reader/pad technologies. Services are to include Text Mining Engines and Web Content Management technologies that were previously accessible only to a limited few large publishers. By integrating these components with its existing web based technologies, Fry makes accessible class-leading Nstein components as an integrated part of existing publisher technology services that include the Fry Ad Portal, Fry Editions, Journal Designer and Journal Planner publication mapping technologies, and its online, iPad, and mobile apps.

Fry's integrated content platform offers publishers a seamless engine for content management and distribution that is robust and scaleable for publishers large and small, enabling rapid entry into multiple platforms beyond print.

"Accessibility to world class technology has always been a hallmark of Fry's offerings, whether in print, online, or beyond," says Steve Grande, Fry's VP of Sales. "The expansion of our suite of services through the partnership with Nstein underscores this mission. This truly is a great service for publishers."

"The ability to implement seamless integration of content distribution is a core capability of a robust publisher," says David Fry, CTO of Fry. "Creating a platform of shared services enables all publishers to access a world class level of technology performance not only at a fraction of its acquisition cost, but with the level of efficiency only a software as a service model can offer."
